In the first quarter of 2021, the platformer gaming category on iOS witnessed significant user activity in Brazil. Here's a look at the performance of the top five games, based on data provided by Sensor Tower.

Crash Bandicoot: On the Run!, published by King from the United Kingdom, saw a massive initial download spike at 535K in its release week, followed by a dip to 139K. Weekly active users grew from 519K to 639K, indicating a strong retention rate post-launch.

Subway Surfers, a long-standing favorite by Sybo Games ApS of Denmark, maintained consistent downloads throughout the quarter, with a slight increase from 23K to 24K in the final weeks. The active user base grew steadily, ending the quarter with a peak of 517K weekly users.

Voodoo's Roof Rails, with its French origins, showed a decreasing trend in weekly downloads, settling at 4.6K from an initial 57K. However, weekly active users remained relatively stable, closing the quarter at around 54K.

Another title, Stacky Dash by SUPERSONIC STUDIOS LTD from Israel, did not generate revenue but had a notable presence with downloads peaking at 28K and dipping to 17K, with active users ending at 42K in the final week of March.

TapNation's Giant Rush! from France also had no reported revenue, but experienced a download count that varied, starting at 19K and decreasing to 6.6K. The weekly active users showed a downward trend, finishing at 19K.
